Deleting member data from Chamber Dashboard plugins
Delete personal data from the Business Directory plugin
The Business Directory and CRM plugins are connected to the WordPress erase personal data tool. In order to use this tool to process a member’s request to delete their personal data, you will first need to make sure you are using the correct settings and combination of Chamber Dashboard plugins to be GDPR compliant.
Once you have the correct settings in place, you can use the WordPress erase personal data tool to delete a member’s records from your site on request.
Manually delete data from the Business Directory
Before deleting Business Directory Listings, we recommending deleting all connected records first. Once you have deleted all connected records, delete the businesses and empty the trash to completely remove the Listing from your database.
Delete Connected Invoices
Open the Business listing from your website’s dashboard and navigate to ‘Connected Invoices’. Delete all connected invoices by mousing-over the invoice name, then clicking ‘Trash’.
To completely remove the information from your database, click on ‘Trash’ next and then click the ‘Empty Trash’ button.
Delete Connected Orders
If you are using WC Payments with WooCommerce, each invoice is connected to an order. The invoice is linked to the connected order.
Delete Connected People & User Records
Open the Business listing from your website’s dashboard and navigate to ‘Connected People’.
- Click thru to the connected People record.
- Check to see if there is a connected user. If yes, delete the user first.
- Then delete the People record. Be cure to delete from the trash by clicking the ‘Empty Trash’ button.
