Display Editor Features

Add new pages to site menu

To make it easy for your members to either register as a new Business Editor or login to edit their Business listings, add a link to both your registration & login page to your site’s menu.

Add editor login page to WordPress menu
  • Go to Appearance >> Menus .
  • Do a search for your login page.
  • Select the page and ‘Add to Menu’.
  • Drag the page to position it in your site’s menu.
  • Repeat for your registration page.
  • Don’t forget to save your changes.

Your members can now register as a new Editor for a Business listing in your Directory or login to edit their Business…or both!

Add ‘claim my listing’ Link

Encouraging your members to claim and update their own listings will help you build a more robust and SEO friendly directory.

To inspire this, add a ‘login here to edit’ link to show on all of your Directory listings. All you need to do is install & setup the Member Updater plugin!  The link will automatically appear on every individual Business listing.

NOTE: Link is only visible to logged out users.

Claim, Update Business Listing

Redirect to Business Listing

Once your member has logged in on the ‘Edit My Listing’ page, they will be redirected to the member account page where they can follow a link to the edit page.

Log Out

To add a logout link to your WordPress menu, go to Chamber Dashboard >> CDsettings >> Payments >> Membership Form Fields.
